Our Cloud-Native Development service helps a leader develop a location-based mobile marketing platform. With full-service and self-service solutions, they offer insightful planning, targeting, optimization, and measurement capabilities for businesses and brands of all sizes.
The Challenge
Initially, they developed their platform in PaaS. The challenge was to move all their infrastructure to a cloud provider that gives them granular control over all their infrastructure. In addition, they wanted a safe and predictable way to create, change, and improve infrastructure.
The application was built on Ruby on Rails with Sidekiq workers to manage some jobs.
They didn’t have any template to create or replicate their infrastructure, so we had to build all from scratch.
The Solution: Cloud-Native Development
After knowing the client’s needs, Cloudreams incorporated an AWS-certified solution architect to define the requirements, flows, AWS services, and security standards.
We replicated their infrastructure in Amazon Web Services using Elastic Beanstalk and ECS for the sidekiq workers. In addition, we configure ElastiCache with Redis engine. All the infrastructure was created using IaaC with Terraform and Cloud-native development solutions.
Thanks to the work of our engineers, our client grew rapidly and was acquired by the most extensive location-based advertising.
